Kids love to read stories and watch movies, but they also love to invent their own own characters, tell their own stories, and make their own movies! This camp opens the door for students to use their imagination to develop colorful characters, create unique stories, and make their own movie magic using digital production tools! They will learn basic set design, story development, lighting, sound, and editing. Using Stop Motion Studio, a movie making app, students will make a stop motion video using characters they love. We will explore claymation, creating original music with GarageBand, creating spiffy graphics with Adobe Spark, and learning to edit short videos with iMovie. Spend a week making movie magic and go home with skills to continue your digital media storytelling! Each student will go home with a thumb drive with their completed digital projects and their custom made clay characters!
