Cabrillo Summer Youth Program - Oceans and Robotics, Science and Technology Camp (SSROV) - Level 2
Ever wonder what lies on the seafloor? Our Level 2 week-long, all day STEM camp is designed for rising 6-9th graders. Dive into the world of marine science, technology, and operations with the Seafloor Science and Remotely Operated Vehicle (SS ROV) camp. This hands-on camp makes learning fun as campers discover the scientific method, seafloor biology and geology, engineering practices, and technologies and operations for deep-sea exploration. Interactive activities include autonomous rovers, underwater ROVs, sensors, plankton, sonars, seafloor biology and geology, and more.
As an ocean explorer, campers will engage in teamwork activities that develop leadership skills, cultivate creative solutions to technical problems, and appreciate a range of career possibilities while discovering our unique underwater world.
