Ever wonder what lies on the seafloor? This Level I week-long STEM camp is designed for rising 3-5th graders. Dive into the world of marine science, technology, and operations with the Seafloor Science and Remotely Operated Vehicle (SS ROV) camp. This hands-on camp makes learning fun as campers discover the scientific method, seafloor biology and geology, engineering practices, and technologies for deep-sea exploration. Interactive activities include rovers, underwater ROVs, sensors, plankton, sonars, scientific drilling, deep-sea biology, and more. As an ocean explorer, campers will engage in teamwork activities that develop leadership skills, cultivate creative solutions to technical problems, and appreciate a range of discoveries and operations centered around our unique underwater world.
