Designed for kids who love to spend time baking and creating in the kitchen, this camp offers them the chance to learn and practice special techniques in Cabrillo’s Culinary Arts Kitchen and Bake Shop. We will make fresh fruit tarts, key lime pies, French baguettes, croissants, and Italian Focaccia bread. Campers will create delicious baked goods to enjoy during camp, and to take home to family and friends, as they learn teamwork, problem solving, time management, kitchen and food safety, while developing their culinary skills. Careers in the baking and pastry arts are also discussed.
