If you love to bake then come spend a week making sweet and savory treats with Chef Anne in Cabrillo’s Culinary Arts Kitchen and Bake Shop. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of baking as you learn to make biscuits, muffins, strawberry jam, plum crisp, cookies, ice cream, and sweet and savory French pies. Each day we will focus on mastering a skill, and learn to bake delicious goodies to take home to your friends and families. Campers work on teamwork, problem solving, time management, kitchen and food safety, and develop their culinary skills. Careers in the baking and pastry arts are also discussed.
