Camp Tuku - Mindfulness Camp - NY
By introducing mindfulness skills early in life, children can develop inner resilience, positive self-awareness, and have the capacity to respond more effectively to the inevitable stressors of life. Set within a traditional summer camp experience, Camp Tuku offers an amazing opportunity for kids to put mindfulness in action in every activity and in their interactions with other campers. We design each day to give the campers time and space to connect their inner world to nature through fun and mindful activities. Campers practice yoga, play mindfulness games, develop a gratitude practice, and enjoy traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, aquatics, physical challenge and team building activities, hiking, and participate in organic gardening, sustainability endeavors, and innovations/ STEAM.
Located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, just 2 hours outside of New York City, our host camp, Camp Huguenot rest in 1,000 acres of pristine wilderness and is a collection of beautiful lakes, streams, waterfalls, ridges, vistas and miles of hiking trails.
