Lake Rickabear - Horsemanship

As a Horsemanship camper, you will spend two hours at the horse corral each day (weather permitting, Tuesday through Friday, including a daily 20 minute riding lesson. You'll also learn about grooming, tacking, barn management, careers in the industry, and more. You will earn the Girl Scout Junior Horseback Riding badge. During the rest of your week you will participate in many typical camp activities like swimming and Girl Scout badges. You will visit some, but not all, of the camp specialty areas (archery, challenge course, arts and crafts, nature). Lake Rickabear is a Girl Scout camp, but all girls including non-Girl Scouts, are welcome.
