Invest in Girls is a five-day residential camp for highly motivated young women, ages 15-18, who represent high schools in Northeast Texas. Located on the scenic campus of The University of Texas at Tyler, campers will develop personal finance, professional communication, and analytical numeracy skills, while they prepare for college and future careers. From award-winning faculty and leaders in the financial industry to teachers and camp counselors, all the staff will be female in this celebration of unlimited girl potential. The week will include two days of classroom instruction, team-based learning, and interactive critical thinking activities. A third day will whisk the young women off to the metroplex, where they will visit the Westlake campus of Fidelity Investments. Check out picture four on the homepage to see the Fidelity campus! Day four will bring a change of pace with a re-energizing retreat at beautiful Camp Tyler, which provides outdoor learning experiences in a natural environment. The camp will conclude with the fifth day of networking, presentations, awards and great plans for the future.
