UT Tyler Camps & Youth Programs - Sculpture: Through the Lens of Nature & Exploration

June 24th -28th 8AM-4PM Co-Ed for Ages 11 - 14 This fun camp requires no experience with art making. Campers will expand their knowledge of sculpture through a series of art projects, art history lessons, and exploration activities that introduce the vocabulary of art, sculptural materials, and methods of construction, finding inspiration in nature and non-traditional materials. The camp will culminate in an exhibition of the sculpture created throughout the week. All activities will take place on the UT Tyler campus. Lunch cost is included in registration, and will be at The Met in the University Center; daily snacks will be provided. All art materials will be provided.
