The faculty and students at UT Tyler want to help high school juniors and seniors explore the many health-related careers available. You will have the opportunity to participate in biomedical science, nursing, medicine, pharmacy, nutrition and dental hygiene simulations and discussions in the same labs and classrooms that our health profession students learn in. You will also gain more insight into how these very different health professionals work as a team to provide the best patient care. Activities: Biomedical lab experiments Pharmacy compounding and IV preparation Mentorship from health profession students and residents Practice working with others in a team-based care model Hands-on demonstrations in our state of the art Simulation Hospital and Labs
