Birchwood Camp - Faith Adventure Camp
Faith Adventure Camp is geared towards older elementary age kids who are ready to spend a whole week at camp. This adventurous week is spent making friends and learning about living in community. Faith Adventurers experience a lot of recreation activities: swimming, boating, crazy Olympics, as well as many other fun activities: crafts, service projects, skits, etc. Campers learn to work together in their small family groups and to develop a caring community with other kids. In all these adventures, campers are encouraged to explore their faith and to see God in the beautiful nature they experience. Life at Birchwood Camp centers on acceptance, trust, and Christian caring.
While at Birchwood, campers live in log cabins with bunk beds and mattresses and a centralized bathroom/shower house. Each cabin has at least 2 counselors and up to 10 campers. Campers will spend part of their time in small “family groups” of mixed gender. Camp activities—worship, swimming, singing, crafts, boating, games, skits, Bible study, campfires, and more—are designed for experiential learning. Through these experiences, campers will deepen their Christian faith and gain an appreciation for the wonders of God’s world. Campers will make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime!
