Tecaboca - Boys Camp
Base Camp, 2nd-6th graders
In this camp, there are cabin groups of eight similar aged campers and two counselors. This group forms an important part of a camper’s community. Campers try all activities, and two week campers are able to refine their choices to their favorite ones.
Remuda Camp, Vaqueros 5th-8th graders
The Remuda Camp has as their primary activity getting to know about horses and other barnyard animals, increasing riding skills, and developing a day to day understanding of caring for animals. Campers live in a covered shelter or in a wall tent on a wooden deck, much like the open air bunkhouses where cowboys lived in the past. Of course, these campers are not left out of other camp activities, and enjoy a well-rounded camp experience with evening activities with camp teams, the very popular cowboy night, and campfires with all of the other campers.
Outpost Hillside Camp, 7th-9th graders
Junior High Campers live in an Outpost area in tent units, with up to 4 campers in a wall tent set on a wooden platform; up to five tents are in a unit, with two counselors in each unit. Campers have more freedom to pick their activities, plan new activities, and plan cook out meals.
Ranger and C.I.T. Programs, 10th-11th graders
Campers that are invited for these two programs participate in all camp activities, plus advanced activities and leadership training.
