Through team building, impactful community service projects and staff-led mentoring, our Leader in Training program will leave teens feeling fulfilled and confident by the end of this summer. Spending some of their session volunteering within the community and the rest of their time assisting on-site with KidsQuest campers and counselors, teens will enjoy experiences designed to teach more about important life skills such as communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution. Leaders will learn responsibility and gain independence this summer. They will receive valuable leadership training and feedback. All LITs who participate in a session this summer will receive a certificate of completion. LITs are invited to accompany KidsQuest campers on their field trips on Fridays. These leaders will be the role models that campers look up to all summer long. Sample Service Projects: Garden maintenance at the Madison Community Garden Organizing donations at Dress for Success Organizing and executing a donation drive Technology assistance for senior citizens within the community
