The Children's Museum of Phoenix - Summer Camp: Moonwalkers

To infinity and beyond! Join us as a space explorer and learn all about the moon. Campers will follow man's journey to the moon and have the opportunity to explore the geology of Arizona just like the Apollo astronauts explored our moon's lunar surface. Campers will learn about light and energy, explore the Sun and other stars, create rockets, design a mission patch, learn about the myths, facts, and phases of the moon, and engage their creativity as they make moon rocks and other space-inspired art. All camps also include ample time for camp participants to play within all three floors of our imaginative exhibits. Other activities include: story time, talent show, and awards ceremony.
