Kennolyn Camps - Overnight Camp

Kennolyn's overnight camp is located at the Stone Creek Village and hosts approx 220 campers and 100 staff. We have 1 and 2 week sessions. On Opening Day our campers are put into their cabins and meet their counselor and 6 new cabin mates. The bonds which tie a cabin together are quickly formed and so we allow our campers to choose their activity schedules with their new friends before dinner. A typical activity day is from 8:45am - 4:50pm with 6 activity periods, lunch and a rest. Kennolyn resident camp has over 40 activities to choose from. Cabins eat together for the three main meals each day (we always have fresh fruit, salad bars and vegetarian options at each meal) and have a chance to share their experiences and stories with one another and their counselor. Evening activities can include a dance, movie night, campfire, international night, safari, counselor dress up, egg drop, talent show and more. Not every day is an activity day though, we also enjoy Outpost once a week. Each cabin is assigned a camp site on our property and they hike out to their site with their sleeping bags, flashlights and mess kits. The counselor helps them build a fire and prepare and cook their dinner and breakfast. The perfect compliment to any meal is a good ole s'more! Outpost is the number 1 favorite activity of our campers. The best stories and jokes come from their 24 hours in the woods with their counselor. Other days include a trip to the Boardwalk, Beach and our very own Water Carnival! (1 week sessions have a slightly modified schedule and do not include some of these trips).
