At JCC Day Camp, we relate to children as unique individuals who have the opportunity to grow by experiencing new challenges, developing new skills (both physical and social and building confidence. We believe that this can be accomplished most successfully in a relaxed, fun atmosphere, with support from our professional staff. As part of a group, children share, work, and play together, striving toward common goals, gaining an understanding of the significance of his or her own contributions to the group and being able to recognize and understand the needs of others. Every day, Camp is filled with activities, friendship, spirit, and adventure. All of this is grounded on a foundation based on Jewish values, informing and shaping children’s identities and building character as these values are woven through each week’s planned curriculum.
