YMCA Camp Twin Lakes - Overnight Camp

Unplugged, but reconnected—join us for a week and experience summer as it was meant to be at the ALL NEW Overnight Summer Camp at YMCA Camp Twin Lakes. For the first time ever, YMCA Camp Twin Lakes is offering week-long overnight sessions (five in total) in addition to our regular day camp schedule. While a week may not seem that long in the grand scheme of things, our themed overnight camps have the power to not only change the course of a summer, but to help kids develop in positive ways that can last a lifetime. An added benefit to parents, it is centrally located in Cedar Park near U.S. 183 and Avery Ranch Blvd. Campers stay in single-gender cabins with two camp counselors at the 55-acre site complete with two lakes, tango tower, paintball field, 100 foot Wet Willie Water slide, archery, low ropes, team challenge course and much more. Our cabins are brand new and feature modern restrooms and air conditioning. Most of the weekly schedule takes place with the cabin group — same-gender, similar-aged groups that travel around camp together under the guidance of camp counselors trying different camp activities. Our activities are “Challenge by Choice,” which simply means that we create an environment where campers are encouraged to push themselves to try each activity. While activities are important, the real benefits of life at YMCA Camp Twin Lakes comes from the character development, guidance and encouragement to help kids develop and realize their potential. All activities at Camp Twin Lakes are led by trained staff members who always have your child’s well-being at heart. For example, all water sports are led by YMCA-certified lifeguards and trained support staff, while the high ropes course is supervised by our high-ropes-certified staff. More than just fun ways to spend a summer day, all activities serve to reinforce our core values and strengthen relationships between campers and staff. Who can attend overnight camp? All kids entering grades 3-8 are eligible. But space is limited, so register early. The cost for Y Family Members is $649 & $724 for Non-members.
