Girls ages 8 - 17: What are YOU doing this summer? Why not spend a week or two (or more!) dancing, making new friends & having a BLAST with American Dance Training Camps - the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains? Our Colorado home is the Winter Park Mountain Lodge, a beautiful hotel at Winter Park Resort, 90 minutes northwest of Denver, 90 minutes from Summit County, and two hours from Vail Valley. Campers are assigned to double-occupancy rooms with a private bathroom. ADTC staff is mixed in right along the hallway on each floor, providing campers with 24-hour supervision & support. Amenities at include community lounges (for doing arts & crafts and hanging out), laundry facilities, and a Dance Canteen for basic supplies, snacks, apparel & souvenirs. ADTC’s dance instructors are members of some of the best national and international studios and performance groups. Our dance instructors are Broadway and MTV performers, finalists from your favorite dance TV shows, collegiate dance team competitors, teachers and even Dance Company members! Many of our dance instructors return year after year. ADTC’s camper-to-counselor ratio is 7:1. In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), you get to choose between ballet, tap or world dance for your core elective dance discipline each week. Campers take at least four dance classes per day, and at week’s end, you get to show off your new moves in a big Friday Night Performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available upon request! Outside of dance, ADTC Colorado campers can enjoy awesome activities like horseback riding, swimming, trampolines, alpine slides, white water rafting and more!
