Girls ages 8 - 17: What are YOU doing this summer? Why not spend a week or two (or more!) dancing, making new friends & having a BLAST with American Dance Training Camps - the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp located only 30 minutes from Baltimore? Our Maryland home is the Oldfields School, a unique, fully accredited all-girls prep school set on 130 rural acres in the bucolic horse county of North Baltimore, MD. The Oldfields campus blends scenic beauty with convenient, modern facilities. Campers are assigned to double-occupancy dorm rooms in a traditional-style residence hall, sharing a community bathroom. ADTC staff is mixed in right along the hallway on each floor, providing campers with 24-hour supervision & support. Amenities at include community lounges (for doing arts & crafts and hanging out), laundry facilities, and a Dance Canteen for basic supplies, snacks, apparel & souvenirs. ADTC’s dance instructors are members of some of the best national and international studios and performance groups. Our dance instructors are Broadway and MTV performers, finalists from your favorite dance TV shows, collegiate dance team competitors, teachers and even Dance Company members! Many of our dance instructors return year after year. ADTC’s camper-to-counselor ratio is 7:1. In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), you get to choose between ballet, tap or world dance for your core elective dance discipline each week. Campers take at least four dance classes per day, and at week’s end, you get to show off your new moves in a big Friday Night Performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available upon request! Outside of dance, ADTC Maryland campers can enjoy awesome activities like horseback riding, swimming, trampolines, paintball, bowling, tennis and more!
