Girls ages 8 - 17: What are YOU doing this summer? Why not spend a week or two (or more!) dancing, making new friends & having a BLAST with American Dance Training Camps - the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp in the beautiful Sierra Mountains of Olympic Valley, California? Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley USA) is perhaps best known for its world class skiing and for being the site of the 1960 Olympics. Our Sierra Tahoe home is Lake Tahoe Prep, a fully accredited boarding school just one mile from Palisades Tahoe's base area packed with shops, restaurants, activities and fun, and views that simply take your breath away. At LTP, our campers stay in double-occupancy log cabin-style dorms with shared bathrooms. ADTC staff is housed in rooms on each floor, providing 24-hour supervision & support. Amenities at LTP include community lounges (for doing arts & crafts and hanging out), laundry facilities, and a Dance Canteen for basic supplies, snacks, apparel & souvenirs. ADTC’s dance instructors are members of some of the best national and international studios and performance groups. Our dance instructors are Broadway and MTV performers, finalists from your favorite dance TV shows, collegiate dance team competitors, teachers and even Dance Company members! Many of our dance instructors return year after year. ADTC’s camper-to-counselor ratio is 7:1. In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), you get to choose between ballet, tap or world dance for your core elective dance discipline each week. Campers take at least four dance classes per day, and at week’s end, you get to show off your new moves in a big Friday Night Performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available upon request! Outside of dance, ADTC Sierra Tahoe campers can enjoy awesome activities like swimming, horseback riding, kayaking on Lake Tahoe, roller skating, rock wall, trampolines, a ropes course, mini golf & more!
