The mission of the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is to conserve a natural area, connect people with nature and inspire environmental stewardship. It is our goal as an organization to make sure that we provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive outdoor space so that all people can connect with nature on their own terms. Camp Goals: 1. Campers will develop confidence and sense of self. 2. Campers will take an active role in the stewardship of our environment. 3. Campers will discover their own skills and abilities. 4. Campers will experience cooperative play or teambuilding.
