The University of Philosophical Research offers Hero Camp: A 2-week summer day camp based on Joseph Campbell’s HERO'S JOURNEY® mythology. Campers will be guided through the twelve stages of the hero’s journey through ancient world literature, architecture, art, games, mindfulness meditation, movement, movies, mythology, scavenger hunts, storytelling and more. Camp is held at the historic campus of the University of Philosophical Research in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.
