Camp Centerland (JCCA)
Camp Centerland, a program of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo, is a summer day camp for children entering grades PK 4-9.
In 1954, the Jewish Center purchased a 78-acre tract of land in rural Elma, New York, and began operating Camp Centerland at that site in the summer of 1955.
In 2013, Camp Centerland moved to a new 19 acre facility in Getzville, New York, adjacent to the JCC Benderson Family Building. Camp Centerland is building a camp that will redefine camping for the 21st century. Campers enjoy an outdoor setting that combines the enjoyment of our natural surroundings with exciting new state-of-the-art features, such as a 4-faced climbing tower, high and low ropes elements, double zip line, archery, sports, music, and drama, etc..
Camp Centerland welcomes children and families of all backgrounds and faiths. At Centerland, a child will experience activities with a focus on high quality staffing, good sportsmanship, and positive values.
