Central Wisconsin Environmental Station
Through our summer programming, the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES) has been connecting youth to the environment since 1975. We are committed to providing positive growth experiences, quality education and a nurturing setting for discovery and recreation. Your week at camp will foster new perspectives and passions while creating memories lasting a lifetime. As part of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, our caring and knowledgeable staff will provide you with leadership, support and inspiration.
While all summer camps are themed, there will be plenty of time for activities such as swimming, boating, campfire songs and skits. Camps and trips run from Sunday at 3 p.m. to Friday at 2 p.m, and are based on age. Visit our website for the most updated version of our camps: http://www.uwsp.edu/cnr-ap/cwes/Pages/SummerCamp.aspx
CWES is located 19 miles east of Stevens Point on Sunset Lake amid towering pines and rolling hills. We have 200 acres of forests, lakes, and wetlands.
