Camp Friendship is an overnight summer camp in Virginia. Each summer we welcome campers ages 7 - 16 from all over the US and the world. Established in 1966 by former ACA National President Chuck Ackenbom, Camp Friendship is still proudly run by the Ackenbom family today. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounded by over 600 acres of rolling hills and scenic woods, Camp Friendship is an ideal setting for a summer of fun and adventure! With over 35 activities to choose from including water sports, horseback riding, gymnastics, creative and performing arts and more, we encourage exploration and offer a wide range of possibilities for rich and meaningful experiences. The Equestrian Program for girls ages 9-16 is a firm favorite for girls who just love horses.
