An extended 11-day session for Tween and Teen campers ages 11-21. Youth Sessions are a great way for campers ages 7-21 with blindness or vision loss to experience summer camp! Campers are housed in gender-specific cabins with peers in the same age grouping. Youth campers spend their days traveling from camp activity to camp activity as a cabin group. Small groups (2:6 camper to staff ratio) and natural setting provide opportunities for our campers to grow individually and as a cabin. Kid and Tween campers participate in similar activity offerings and evening programs while Teen campers participate in separate, and more advanced, programming. Special offerings during youth sessions include: guest programs, equine-assisted therapy, overnight campouts, outdoor skills (specifically for our Teens), and an all-out, over the top THEME for all!
