We’ve updated our Lego inventory again in 2014 buying new sets from current popular series, adding to our growing collection of full sets for kids to play with throughout the week. We want our camp kids to be able to build the sets that are difficult to get (as kids with limited budgets keenly understand). Campers will choose a different set they would like to tackle each day. Once completed if time, they’ll get a chance to play with the set before disassembling the set so it’s ready for the next days camper. Each day campers will get a different set to construct. On Thursday, all campers will be challenged to use our Lego bin to ‘free-think’ and construct their own creation from over 20,000 pieces. On this day, our Lego director will challenge all participants with inventive construction projects. In addition to providing hours of fun this camp will encourage the development of eye-hand coordination, cooperation, spatial concepts, creativity and imagination.
