Camp Tecumseh Adventure Trips provide great group experiences for teens ages 13 to 17 that are filled with fun, and challenges! They require trippers to work together, developing personal responsibility and mutual respect. There are still daily devotions and an emphasis on the “I’m Third” motto to guide the group’s actions. Each camper and camper parent must commit to a code of behavior outlined in the Camper Contract. All Camp Tecumseh YMCA adventure trips travel in ‘The Chariot’, a wide-body, airport limo-type vehicle complete with high back reclining seats and video player! We camp along the way on each trip and the group works as a team preparing the campsite, cooking and cleaning up meals, and other camping responsibilities. All trips are led by outstanding Camp Tecumseh staff members experienced in working with teen campers. The goal of each trip is for campers to make friends as they grow in responsibility and faith as they explore some of America’s most beautiful places.
