Tate's Day Camp - Counselor-In-Training Program
A Counselor-in-Training (CIT) is a rising freshman or sophomore who is ready to grow as a leader. CITs are willing to engage intentionally and venture out of their comfort zone in order to grow into young men and women who inspire and lead those around them. Counselors-in-Training commit to a three-week session at Tate’s. The goal of the CIT program is to provide opportunities for high schoolers to develop skills in multiple areas. CITs will participate in leadership workshops focused on growth in three core areas: personal, interpersonal, and professional. Additionally, CITs will receive training, guidance, and hands-on experience working with Discovery campers (ages 3-6). CITs may also earn up to 30 hours of community service for completing one session.
