Cub Creek Science Camp - Adventure Camp

Adventure at Cub Creek Science Camp comes in a few varieties. First is the Ropes Course! Built in 2012, our ropes course is a very popular part of camp. Between our two ropes towers, there are 6 different elements a camper can do while at camp. Campers can zoom down the Zip-Line, climb any of the four paths up the Climbing Wall, swing on the Big Swing, try to beat the high score at Crate Stacking, slide down the Rappelling Wall, or face their fears on the Leap of Faith! Next, is Archery and Riflery. For a whole week, campers can work on shooting a bull-eye in these areas. Both are highly supervised and safety is our utmost concern! At camp, we also have Survival Skills. For this week long course, campers to learn how to rough it! They'll learn how to build a fire with different levels of supplies, how to build a shelter from branches and leaves, and they will exercise all the knowledge they have learned one night of camp on what we call Survival Camp Out! Last, we have Caving! This is another popular activity at Cub Creek where campers trek to our adjacent property to venture into camp's cave! Campers may choose to do Caving or Extreme Caving, the biggest difference is how muddy you'll get!
