Camp Pemigewassett

Being a “best overnight camp for boys” doesn’t just happen overnight! Camp Pemigewassett ("Pemi") is a traditional, sleepaway camp for boys ages 8-15. Independence, skills, and citizenship develop through community living and staff mentorship. Pemi offers instruction from beginner through advanced levels in four program areas: Sports / Nature / The Arts (woodworking, music, crafts & studio art, drama) / and Hiking & Canoeing. Boys can dig deep into what they love most—all the way to an expert level. And because of our range of program choices, Pemi is an ideal place to try something new. Campers return year after year and emerge as both skilled and well-rounded young men. Campers come from 25-28 states and 8-10 countries outside the USA, with 170 campers at any one time. Located next to the White Mountains in New Hampshire, we are the sole occupant of our lake, which ensures both privacy and safety. No public jet skis and party boats on our lake! Founded in 1908, Camp Pemigewassett is the oldest residential boys' camp in the country still owned and managed by the founding families.
