Camp Meriwether provides a caring, encouraging atmosphere where girls can fall in love with camp and the out-of-doors. Located 50 miles southwest of Metro Atlanta in Luthersville, Camp Meriwether’s cozy 270 acres of rolling hills, shady woods, and open fields offer a wide variety of classic camp activities. Saddle up with our English equestrian program for beginning to advanced riders, perform on stage, stay cool kayaking and paddle boarding, or take aim on the archery range. Camp Meriwether is open to grades 2–12, including Girl Scouts who are Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Grades for summer camp are based on a camper’s fall 2023 school grade. All girls are eligible to become Girl Scouts; every year, girls are introduced to Girl Scouting through the fun of summer camp!
