A wilderness adventure for 8-17 year olds on beautiful Loon Lake in Eldorado National Forest near Lake Tahoe. Deer Crossing Wilderness Camp is an ideal opportunity for campers to experience life away from the pressures of technology where friendships are made face-to-face. Our wilderness, off-the-grid, lakeside location provides a beautiful and safe environment for campers to challenge themselves. Our focus is two-fold: (1) build self-esteem through competence (Canoeing, Sailing, Rock Climbing, Windsurfing, Technical Tree Climbing, Kayaking, Backpacking, and more); and (2) true leaders first learn to lead themselves. Our stunning mountain lodge houses the dining hall, kitchen, crafts room, first aid room, and bathrooms with flush toilets and real showers.
