Camp Misty Mountain is nestled against the Appalachian Mountains on 1,000 acres of lakefront, open meadows, and forests. The girls explore a wide range of camp activities, including hiking, field and nature games, Western-style horseback riding, archery, climbing, swimming, kayaking, and more at this hub for high adventure activities. Camp Misty Mountain is run by the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. Camp Misty Mountain is open to grades 4–12, including Girl Scouts who are Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Grades for summer camp are based on a camper’s fall 2023 school grade. All girls are eligible to become Girl Scouts; every year, girls are introduced to GIrl Scouting through the fun of summer camp!
