YMCA Camp Timbers has been providing youth and families with quality, outdoor experiences for fifty years. The camp is beautifully situated on a 300-acrea wooded setting in northern Michigan surrounding Piper Lake, a private, spring-fed lake. The rustic, natural setting is complemented by a rich variety of programs, including zip lines, high ropes course, climbing tower, team-building course, mountain biking, water slide, in-lake rope swing, boating, fishing, archery, horseback riding, over 5 miles of wooded hiking trails, and much more! For all campers, we strive to offer remarkable new experiences, quality connections with friends and nature, and meaningful growth in mind, body, and spirit. In addition to summer youth overnight camps, YMCA Camp Timbers is also proud to host church retreats, sports camps, band and choral retreats, school retreats, family camps, corporate teambuilding retreats, and other events.
